It’s time for another Feature Friday Clarksville! We keep running into people who have somehow not heard about Cafe 931, so, let’s fix that. We don’t want anybody missing out!

Cafe 931 opened in August of 2021 and they serve a variety of burritos and bowls, as well as coffee, fresh juices and açaí bowls. Claudia and her family relocated to Clarksville in 2019. Her husband Barry, a retired CSM, was called upon by his friend Randy, also retired from the Army, to help with his business, Clarksville Pool and Leisure. Randy even had space for a small restaurant in his building.
Randy and his wife Tammy partnered with Barry and Claudia to open up a restaurant. They originally planned to open up a burger spot in the shared building, but Covid came along and threw a curveball. At this time, Claudia began brainstorming with her sister Patty, who was always on the go, and was trying to think of something convenient to eat and suggested a burrito. Now that they had the first menu item selected, Claudia decided to get creative with the types of burritos they made, starting with a biscuit and gravy burrito. Patty loved it and the unique burritos didn’t stop there. Try their pancake burrito, it’s the perfect solution to those pancake cravings while you’re driving around town.

Together with her mother, daughter, nieces and nephew, Claudia has steadily added new items to the menu. Originally from Southern California, they knew they had to include tacos! Tacos (in house made tortillas) are available on Tuesdays from 4-7pm, and if you’re a transplant from Cali, word is, the tacos and burritos just might bring a tear to your eye as you feel your taste buds transported home.
Another convenience the family wished to offer was fresh juices. As fans of juicing, they know it’s not always the most convenient thing to make your own. Save your money and time and swing by Cafe 931 for their fresh juices. Fun fact: They’re all named after the staff of Clarksville Pool and Leisure.

The açaí bowls are some of our favorite items! We always grab the apple pie açaí, but the newly added “Coco” or coconut, is definitely a winner as well! Inside Cafe 931, you’ll find plenty of space to dine, free wifi, and play space for your littles. They also have several vendor items here, like honey, meats, eggs, cookies and pastries! Be sure to join their text club to be the first to hear some exciting announcements coming soon!
